A Four days training programme on Natural Farming was organized by District Horticulture office, Nongpoh in collaboration with ICAR-KVK, Ri-Bhoi, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya from 2nd to 6th March, 2026 for tribal farmers covering 4 blocks with 580 farmers in village like Umshru, Pahampadem, Ranibari, Klew, Rtiang etc. of Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya. During the 4 days training programme they were taught on various topics of NF by Dr. Meghna Sarmah, SMS,Agronomy and hands on training on different formulations for preparation of Jeevamrit, Beejamrit, Ghanajeevamrit, Neemastra, Agniastra, Dashaparni etc and its application in fields. The participants were also distributed leaflets on Natural farming written in local language in the training programme.
